Choosing the right Realtor can sometimes be a difficult task. Alot of home owners once they have decided to sell their home want it done as soon as possible and at the cheapest commission rate possible. I caution against such choices and warn home owners to make smart decisions otherwise you may pay for it in the end. The service you receive may not be completely what you expected and can leave you feeling disappointed.

* Request information regarding their training.
* How do they advertise? Do they have a strong presence on the web?
* How many years have they been in business?
* Have they prepared a official CMA & gone thru it thoroughly with you?
* Ask to see their listing presentation so you have a clear idea of services offered
Quick cheap services are exactly that. So be careful. Like any trade their are always discount brokers. If someone is willing to compromise their own wage chances are they are willing to compromise their clients service as well as their final selling price.

Market Update for Rocky Mountain House & Clearwater Country.
Quite often as Realtors we are stopped when we are out and about in the community and asked "How is the Real Estate Market?". My answer is That Depends! Depending on whether you are looking to buy, sell, or invest the market can affect you quite differently. In addition, depending on the type of property you have the market is never the same. There are typically fluctuations in different price ranges and better times to buy, list, or sell a specific type of property.
Our Company has a large team that is educated about the market place. If you are wondering how the market affects your specific real estate needs my advice is to make an appointment with one of our Realtors and take a more personal look at your specific needs.
According to MLS Statistic's 44 properties were listed in the Rocky Mountain House Area in August 2010. In August 2009 -40 were listed, 2008 - 51 properties & 2007 - 83 properties.
13 properties sold in the month of August 2010. In August of 2009 13 properties sold, 2008- 13 properties and 2007 - 31 properties.
With current market conditions it is a good time to invest in real estate. Buyers have several homes to choose from, time to make informative decisions & current interest rates are good.
